Listers Would anyone on the list be researching the Dudley D. Davis Family of Salem and Adams Townships, Washington County, Ohio. Dudley is my 4th great grandfather on my fathers side of my family. I am finding a lot of conflicting info on his parentage and was looking for someone that may have his line. I have his military record and place of birth and his history of the time he spent in Washington County. His wife Mercy Wood and info on his children. His parentage in all the family trees I have found dosen't add up in real time possibly as being correct. The dates don't match. Is there anyone out there researching this family that would like to exchange info?.. Dudley D Davis was born abt Oct 1763 in Nottiingham Mass. married Mercy Wood in Dracut , Mass Aug 11 1785. Came to the area in 1792 and stayed at the Belpre Garrison during the Indian War. is related to the Jonas Davis killed by Indians just before his Wedding at the Belpre Garrison.
