    3. Shelby, I am very interested in this book you mention. All three of those Clarks you mention - Abe, Hannah and Granny - are related to me. Abe and Granny are my direct ancestors! I am a little lost - I think I missed one of the posts. Can you give me more information about the book and if it is available? I am also interested in the Williams book you mention. Is this from the Williams family? In the above Clark's "Granny" is Letitia Williams Clark. Any connection? Thanks! 3. That's the History of Washington County 1788-1881 published by H.Z. Williams. My book is "Bluecoats, Boats & Light Bread, the 1862-64 Diaries of Ann Bartlett of Little Hocking, Ohio." It's an 88-page paperback (8.5x11) containing transcriptions of four diaries kept by my great-aunt (her married name was Dalzell) when she was a teenager, detailing her daily life. Her parents kept a boarding house in L.H. Her father, older brothers and other relatives had boats on the Ohio and also built boats, including the schooner Mary Belle Roberts, the last sea-going vessel built in Washington Co. I also included letters dating from the Civil War years to 1920, along with Aunt Ann's list of births, deaths and marriages, some 1860 census records for the village, genealogy charts, 21 pictures, a narrative history of the Bartletts and related families, information on the later lives of people prominently mentioned in the diaries and letters, and an index of 600-place names of people, places and boats. 3. Rick, Just sent a reply to the list, but forgot to add that these Clarks aren't related to my family as far as I know. The only mentions of Abe, Hannah and Granny are those I previously sent. There is a mention of Lize Clark on July 22, 1864: "...I went over to Jimeys after Tom horse. Alice Gall came after butter for Lize Clark & I sold 4 lbs & a quarter to the black smith today..."
