100 years ago (Sept. 29, 1903) A young couple married this morning after choosing not to wait for the consent of their parents. Fredric M. Cromley, of Gallipolis, and Ruby Marie Ranger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Ranger, of Fifth Street, were married at 10 a.m. Three or four friends of the bride and groom attended the wedding of the 18-year-olds.
