I am trying to locate the Lawrence Township Trustees Record vol. 1. It has a number of transactions from the early 1800s that appear to be leases for land in the Fifteen Creek area. The Washington County Recorder's Office said they do not have this record book. And the lease books in the corner of their office do not go back that far. A township trustee indicated that they don't have records going back to the early 1800s. Washington County Public Library's Genealogy Department and the Campus Martius Museum Library don't have the volume in their collections. I will check with the Washington County Historical Society when it reopens in it's new location during the winter. Does any listserv subscriber know of anyone who may have early Lawrence Township records? Or can you suggest other avenues to follow as I try to locate this record. Many thanks. Millie
