I decided to publish the November newsletter just a few days eariler than planned, because when I returned home the other night my computer was off, and for the life of me I could not get it to come back on. No one in the house had turned off the power. To say the least, I started to panic, because I had all of you who signed up for the NEWSLETTER in my files. Good news>>>>> After about 24 hours of trying to reboot my computer, it did FINALLY come back on. The first thing I did was back up all my files on floppy and Zip discs, and printed out my email address book. Come to find out, the reason why my computer had shut itself down, is because of (I am told by a couple computer experts) the power surges that the Flare ups were caused by the Sun. Duh!!! Sounds stupid, doesn't it. They did have it on the news that these flare ups could cause problems with computers, cell phones, etc... Anyway......I am in desperate need of a new computer, which I have asked Santa for. If any of you know SANTA, (my hubby, lol) Will you email him at towereagle@comcast.net and let him know that there is someone who REALLY NEEDS a new computer for Christmas? ha ha Let him know that I will allow him to use it to, if he can get me away from it long enough. ha ha. Just joking.........I know I'm wacked. lol Or as Eliz would say <G>. lol Did anyone else across the US have any of the same problems that I experienced?
