I have a very loooooooong list of names on people buried at Gravel Bank (Cemetery). This cemetery is located in Warren Twp. off of State Rt. 7, between Marietta and Belpre. To get to the cemetery, travel south on Rt. 7. Turn right on Co. Rd. 10. Make the 1st left hand turn. You will see a white church sitting on a hill on the right. Turn right at the bottom of the hill. Follow this road, to the top of the hill, and it will take you right up to the cemetery. You cannot see the cemetery from the highway (St. Rt. 7). I have been there many times to do research and take photos of headstones. The list is not 100% complete, but does contain MANY surnames, along with personal information about some people There is no way, that I can take on the task of putting on the Internet, because the list is much bigger that the one that I re-transcribed for Salem Cemetery. As most of you know, I do like to type, but doing this list would be insane, and I would be typing for days, if not months. lol I would list all the surnames in this email, but there are too many. Plus, I am working on another cemetery transcription (Mason/Kile). The one I submitted to the Washington Co scioto site, was only a partial list, done in the early 1920's by Mary Eliza Mason. (dau. of William Bion Mason). I now have many more names and dates to add to the list. I just don't want to take on too many tasks all at once. If anyone wants me to do a look-up for any surnames, I can send it to you in an email. I ask you to email me directly at Diamonddeb@comcast.com for your request.
