    3. On Ebay: WATERFORD, OHIO 1895 LETTER 10 page reasonably GD condition ink personal letter with envelope and stamp from J.A. Hayward at Waterford, OH on July 10, 1895 to SA Hayward, Easton, MA. A delightfully informative letter highly descriptive of the writer's family and farm; how "my mean neighbor, the man Padgett, last fall lost his only son from blood poisoning brought on as I believe from filth generated by his own pony and pig pens;" has 18 hens and 40 chicks; reference to a lawsuit ("I proceed with my tantrum of grievances") and fact writer has no money at present; Bessie has returned from a visit after extensive travels down South; concerns about "a hoodlum set of children;" a Grand Templar's excursion to Barton; Lucy's visit to the World's Fair; content about the Hayward Homestead; Uncle Washington's estate; "...I can endorse your apt expression about the long __ sharp featured consumptive tribe that sprang from Uncle Washington's Mother..." and so on.Josephine is very opinionated, obviously, and vitriolic at times. Much more content in this wonderful letter. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2236446289&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1 Debbie (Noland) Nitsche Diamonddeb@comcast.net WASHINGTON COUNTY, OHIO HISTORICAL & GENEALOGY "LINKS" http://hometown.aol.com/washcohistory/Intropage1.html
