Millie; This may not help much, but for starters in trying to find the parents of Margaret, look at all the MALE Cline marriages. Margaret married in 1843. The MALE Clines that married at least 10+ years earlier than that could be a clue. David married 1813 and 1814 George married 1807 William married 1803 One of the reasons I say to START with this, is because I had the same experience (brick wall) with finding the parents of Mary McNeal, that married William Park. They married in 1849. I tried finding them with her parents, but the 1840 census didn't give the names of those living in the household. And I couldn't find any other records on her. The only things I had for years was the "CLUES" that was found in other records and documents, such as "Namesakes", "Wills", stories from my Uncle Dewey Johnson, etc...) I posted these clues several times on message boards for Wash. Co., and different surname boards. I think, you tried to help me with this one. Well......low and behold my "CLUES" were correct. When I visited the Genealogy Library in Marietta this past summer, I found in the Mason genealogy book, written in plain black and white, that Mary McNeal was indeed the dau. of Levi McNeal and Francis Eliza Beebe. I was flippin' with excitement to say the least. Then when I got back home, Will Reid emailed me the History of the McNeal family in America. There she was again, listed as being the dau. of Levi and Francis (Beebe) and married to Wm. Park. I think this brick wall coming down, was the most exciting one, I've had since I started doing genealogy. Another thing, is to see if there are any CLINE genealogy books at the library. There are several CLINE sketches in the book, Washington Co., Ohio to 1980. Do you have access to this book? If not, I can copy the pages and snail mail them to you.
