William Married: Dec 02, 1824 in: Washington Co., OH Spouse: RANSOM, SARAH Gender: M More: Family History Library, Salt Lake City, UT, Film #s 0946205 & 0941958. One more comment on these marriages, Sarah above is my ancestor thru her Ransom marriage, she is born a Wright and no one seems to have a clue who her father was, the marriage lists and the cemetery lists have given me at least one daughter from her first marriage to Jacob Shepard, Caroline who married Capt Davises son Willard. The burial grounds [Wright Ruth--w/o Simoen Wright-- The Donor of Rainbow Cemetery--b 1775--d 1796 ] were given by Ruth Wife of Simeon Wright, Simeon being the only named Wright found in the early censuses of Washington Co. I think some of us [read me a few years ago] only pay attention to our directs but these marriages are a goldmine [and thanks to Deb as usual for putting them up!] of hints to unknown children to why a person should be found in the census with someone you don't know. Why they stay neighbors thru the years and moves I save most of these so I can refer over and over <G> Eliz
