Robert D. 'Bob' Luke Robert D. "Bob" Luke, 69, of Market Street, Marietta, died at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 11, 2004) at the Marietta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 13, 1934, in Marietta to Herman and Nola Dillehay Luke. He attended Marietta High School and had later been a carpenter for Moore's Lumber Co. He enjoyed reading and the outdoors. On Sept. 1, 1958, he married the former Millie Freshour, who survives with one son, John Luke and his friend, Carol Haught, of Marietta; one daughter, Genevieve Dee Martin and her husband, Greg, of Fleming; and two granddaughters, Stephanie Martin and Lindsay Martin of Fleming. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Robert Thomas Luke; and two brothers, James Luke and Randall Luke. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home in Marietta with Arthur Edwards officiating. Burial is in Gravel Bank Cemetery.
