She was born December 03, 1846 in Pennsville, OH and was the widow of one John Brooks who she had married December 04, 1862. Jeff, I have a little info on a couple of men named Amos Pryor: 1. An Amos Pryor was born in ca 1811 and was the son of Robert Pryor. Robert is supposed to be the son of Margaret Garvin and John Pryor, Sr. 2. An Amos Pryor was the administrator of Samuel Pryor estate in 1855 (Washington Co., OH) 3. An Amos Pryor was born in ca 1812. His father was born in PA and his mother in NY or NJ. He was married to a Nancy _____ who was born in ca 1814. They are in 1850+ Washington Co. census records 4. An Amos Pryor was born in ca 1852 and was the son of Nancy and Amos Pryor. He married Elizabeth Carter in 1870. Lived in Barlow Twp. The above information is from a number of sources - some sent to me from Pryor researchers on the Internet. Is your Susannah Kitts from Washington Co.? I know a man who has researched the Kitts.
