Debbie, Myself and other family members came down with that horrid virus over the Christmas Holidays, some of us getting pneumonia out of it. My direct line of Spragues moved out of the Washington Co. area, probably mid 1830's. There were still relatives there of my direct line after this time period. There are some lost years for some of them, that I don't know where they were, until I have found them in another area of the country. They settled in other counties of Ohio, then to Illinois, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. The Spragues you mention could very well have been descendents of Major Joshua, but I have also found other lines of Spragues that Settled in Washington Co. at later dates than mine. The surname JETT is not one I know anything about. Happy New Year to you and yours! Hugs, Carolyn I have been working on death reports and obituaries of people from Wash. Co. (1900 and up). In one article I found the name of a Mac SPRAGUE, a Marietta corner, who was working on the case of Investigation of the death of Hamilton JETT, 17-year-old Marietta boy who died at the State Industrial school at Lancaster. I found a few articles about this in a 1929 newspaper on ancestry.com I was wondering if Mac Sprague is connected to your line of Sprague's. I found this to be interesting because the Sprague name is predominate in the Lowell area. Hamilton's uncle, Fred AUGENSTINE, testified. The name of Augenstine also is predominate in the Lowell area. Do you know of anyone that researches the JETT surname??
