Could someone give me an idea of the Washington County procedure for ordering copies of land records? I already have volume and page number of the files I need. I have ordered records from the probate court; with them I just wrote, telling them what I needed. They replied, telling me what was available in their files and gave me the exact amount to remit. Is this the land record procedure also, and what would be the name of the department handling this kind of public records? Thanks much. Pat Pulasky
