    3. I've found an relatively easy and inexpensive way to get land records for Washington County is through a Family History Center. They have Grantee and Grantor Indexes on microfilm. Once you decide on the records you want from the index, you can order the films that have that have the individual land records. The films rent for about $3.50 each as I remember. Then you have to pay to make copies of the individual records, somewhere between 10 and 25 cents each page. I have many family records this way. The nice part is you don't need dates and addresses. You can just look the index and pick out the records you want. The index film numbers can be found on www.familysearch.com . Hope this helps. Ron
