Beverly Dispatch July 4, 1940 Death Cora M. Hanlon A serious illness since February terminated Saturday in the demise of Miss Clora M. Hanlon of Waterford aged 37 years. Miss Hanlon was of a family of nine children born to John Hanlon and the late Kate Spiker Hanlon who departed earth on February 27, 1920. A baby, Mary, 5 days old was one of the family of children left motherless and Miss Cora had the task of rearing the baby and aiding her father in caring for the home and family. Surviving are the father John Hanlon, four brothers and four sisters; Othel Hanlon of the home, Earnest Hanlon of Dresden, Ralph Hanlon of Belpre, Arthur Hanlon of Mc Connesville, Mrs. Gertude Jackson of Akron, Mrs. Bertha Shirley of Marietta, Mrs. Maude McElroy and Miss Mary Hanlon both of the home, and other relatives. Miss Hanlon was a member of the Lowell Methodist Church. Funeral rites were held at the Mindling funeral home at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Rev E Thompson officiating.
