Maryann; Your email about the CLINE surname and the area of New Matamoras caught my eye. Not to interupt your search on the Buck family......but do you happen to know who the CLINE's are related to in the FARNSWORTH or BEAGLE family? My great grandfather, Amirah Jackson Farnsworth (s/o Daniel or David Farnsworth & Catherine Beagle) was born in or around the New Matamoras area. His dau. Myra (my grandma) has always said she was related to the CLINE's in that area, but I have not been able to establish a link. Debbie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maryann D. Hi Debbie! You know that any family that has been in or around the Monroe/Washington Co. areas of OH would really be hard pressed to prove that there was no relationship to the Clines, Okeys or the Tices. All three families intermarried interminably and all were very proliferous. In answer to your question though, I am sorry that I am not able to help you. The most knowledgable person Cline Researcher I know is Ken Oates. He used to be a member of this list. If he or someone else doesn't answer your question, I will be glad to give you the last address I had for him. I am assuming that you have done your usual thorough search in this question, so won't make any other suggestions. By the way, talking about being related to people, my father always claimed distant relationship to President Garfield. However, that is another relationship that I have never been able to prove or disprove. Isn't it interesting - all these mysteries and stories of our ancestors?
