Beverly Dispatch June 23, 1923 Brought to Waterford For Interment The remains of Mrs. Theodosia Smiley, of Zanesville. Former resident here, were rough to Waterford for burial on Monday afternoon. Mrs Smiley, who was 85 years of age in March of the present year, had been in a grave condition with heart trouble for some time. She was the widow of Mr. William Smiley, the family having many friends here. Funereal services were held in Zanesville and brief services, conducted by the Zanesville pastor of the Church of Christ were held in Waterford Cemetery. With the family funeral party were; W. R. Harper of the Harper Grocery Co, wife and son, Charles Culver. L.K. Brown, Mrs. Woody LaSourd and others, Mr. and Mars Scott and Mrs. Shaffer of Mc Connesville, Beverly friends attending the service at the grave were H. H. Funk, Miss Mande Mitchell, Mrs. Jessie Jackson, Mrs. Ella Henniger, Mrs. Adda Morris, Mrs. and Mrs. G. F. Eakin, Miss Rowena Ticker, Mrs. E. B. Townsend, Mrs. Olive Pomeroy, C. R. Applegate.
