Beverly Dispatch Nov 7 1919 Helen Wolcott Fleming Russel Ellis Helen Wolcott, was born February 21, 1851, at Watertown, Ohio, and was the daughter of Alanson and Caroline Wolcott. She was one of a family of thirteen children, who all lived to be men and women. Helen married David Fleming, November 18, 1869, and to this union were born three children, Alvan Alanson, who died November 24, 1893, David Earl, of Tacoma, Wash, and Sylbert Ray of Fayetteville, Ark. They moved to Chicago in about the year 1895 where Mr. Fleming was in the post office department for several years. David Fleming preceded her in death on April 13, 1900. She them married Warren E. Russel, of Chicago, October 13, 1802, and moved to Hot Springs, Ark, Mr. Russel died October 1903, She them married Dr. E. C. Ellis, of Hot Springs, Ark. In May 1904, and Dr. Ellis passed away in April 1908. Them she moved to California, where she has since resided with her son until her visit to Ohio in May 1919. After a very pleasant visit among her relatives and friends she passed away at her sister’s Mrs. Kate W Harvey’s October 14 1919.
