    3. Hello,   I am looking for information regarding Barnabas LA GRANGE  (b1786) and his wife Elizabeth (Betsy) SELLECK  (b.1789) and their family, especially daughter HARRIET La Grange BROWN. (b1811)   Barnabas, Betsy and Harriet and maybe 5 or 6 other children came to Washington County about 1820 from Albany County,New York. Looks like about 5 children were born after 1820.   I have found a Barnabas La Grange in the 1820, 1830,1840 Federal Census for Adams Twp.   In the DAR files there is mention of a family Bible of Barnabas La Grange.  Anyone have info on that?   HIS family (ancestors from NY)  is well documented but I lack info on him and his family after they came to Washington County.    Harriet married Samuel S Brown (s/o Jesse Brown and Relief Story) of Waterford 8 Feb 1834.   All four died and are buried in the Coal Run area.   Any help is greatly appreciated.   Carolyn, Sacramento

    3. DO YOU HAVE A COPY OF THE DAR APPLICATION? THAT WOULD PROBABLY SHOW YOU THE COPY OF THE PAGE TORN FROM THE BIBLE (BEFORE THE INVESTION OF COPY MACHINES). THE APPLICATION SHOULD ALSO LEAD YOU TO THE PERSON WHO FILED THE APPLICATION. IS THE APPLICANT STILL ALIVE? HAVE FUN, MARYLU IN MINNESOTA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carolyn Heijn Peth" <[email protected]> To: "Washington County List" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, December 15, 2008 4:39 PM Subject: [OHWashin] Barnabas LA GRANGE Hello, I am looking for information regarding Barnabas LA GRANGE (b1786) and his wife Elizabeth (Betsy) SELLECK (b.1789) and their family, especially daughter HARRIET La Grange BROWN.
