Franz Neumeier, the webmaster the steamboat.org and Save The Delta Queen.org (see links below) wants to me to let you all know that that it's NOT over when the Delta Queen arrives in New Orleans or when we don't get the exemption through Congress in November. Rep. Chabot and Sen. Voinovich by no means will introduce a new exemption bill to the House and Senate if we fail in November. It's really important that people are not giving up and that we keep the momentum until we have the exemption. And for everyone to "again" contact their Representatives and Senators letting them know that the Delta Queen is now making national news on CNN, ABC, and that it might be good for them to actively support the Delta Queen right now. Actually the biggest fear is that we fail because people are giving up too early!
