Thanks for the spam-type tips, but I have a GEEK hubby who has well-schooled me in the ways of killing viruses and spam. I'm very good at putting new spams into my blocked list, and from then on out they go to my junk folder. If I didn't, my hubby would read me the riot act! LOL. He's also not too understanding of people who wander websites, paying no mind to the digital trail they leave behind. I know I've found good info on GenWeb, or at least had hours of interesting fun reading, and I hope they're here to stay as well. And as good as this new site sounds, I'll have to check it out too. I have never gotten any spam emails from Facebook and/or Myspace. Another thing you might want to check is your virus protection software and the options in whatever email program you use. I'm using Windows Mail and very seldom do SPAM mails make their way into my Inbox. If they do, I hit the Block button, and BINGO! They go to my Junk box from then on out. As far as a site's TOS, I feel very comfortable submitting what I have to Genealogy Wise. At least I know, what work I do put on my page, will always remain mine. Genealogy Wise is also recommended by several well known genealogists and historians alike. Its a brand new site. Started on July 12th. But they do have some qlinches to work out, but they will in time, just as with any new website.
