The Van Horne yDNA project is specifically looking for direct male line descendant of Jan Cornelissen, to be tested. In the four years of the project, no one has subscribed who has a verified pedigree back to Jan Cornelissen. The project also need descendants of Christian Barentsen. Preferably men with verified pedigrees back to Christian. This family has several members in the project, but their pedigrees are incomplete. We have other information that indicates they are descendants of Christian Barentsen. For Matthys Cornelissen, we have tested descendant of all three of Abraham Van Horn’s sons. For Cornelius Van Horen, the older son, we only have tested descendants of Abraham, his fourth son. The objective of the project is to test descendants of all of his sons, Thomas Van Horne, Matthew Van Horne, Cornelius Van Horne, Abraham Van Horne, James Van Horne and Daniel Van Horne.
