Born 1824 in Ohio. I believe his given name may have been Jeremiah Elijah Ward. I know he had a son named Sylvester, born in Washington Co. in 1850. Per Sylvester's death cert, his parents were Elijah Ward and Mary Hanson (or Hausen per newspaper obit). I believe Mary Ward must have died in the 1850's because Elijah has a different wife (Felinda or Filinda) on the 1860 cencus and is living in Noble Co. I greatly appreciate any help you can offer.
