She was born March 19 1894 at Lowell, a daughter of the Late Joseph and Ida Buchanan Allison. She was married March 20 1912 to Vernon Quimby who died Dec 19 1924. Mrs Ellis was a member of the Presbyterian church. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Ellis whom she married Nov 28 1928: four sons Raymond Quimby of Beverly, Charles Quimby of 56 Main St South Zanesville, Othel Quimby of Watertown and Howard Ellis of Beverly Route 1: five daughters, Mrs Lena Fisher of Malta Mrs Cleda Stiers of 203 Florence avenue. Mrs Ella Lou Pabst of Lowell, Mrs Helen Luke of Parkersburg and Mrs Reba Swayne of Waterford Route 1; ?8 Grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, a great great grandchild and a brother Dudley Allison of Hartsville. A brother and sister are deceased. Friends may call at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev Theodore Tate officiating. Burial will be in Watertown Cemetery.
