Hummm... I wonder if the Woodmancy children living with Peter Angle was the children of Mary (Woodmancy/Woodmansee) Angle from a previous marriage?? Mary Angle, 37 yrs. b. in Ct. Mary E. Woodmancy, 17, b. in Ct. Martha Woodmancy, 14, b. in Ct. Harriet Woodmancy, 12, b. in Ohio This tells me that whoever these Woodmancy's are they probably came to Ohio between 1836-1838. According to the RW pension record for Joseph Woodmancy, he died in 1813. There is a Joseph Woodnancy living in Richland, Belmont County, Ohio, age 51 b. in Pennsylvania. But I also have a Mary Woodmansee in the WashCo Marriages 1789 she married Peter Angle 1839. I think you are right about the coming to Ohio but now maybe you have a way to leverage more information about them.
