    3. Merry Anne... I don't have Joseph listed as one of Willard & Candace's children. Would you please send me Joseph's vitals so I can add it to my database. You said that you got Joseph's name from a DAR application. Was the person applying for DAR doing it under John Cole? I heard somewhere that Willard Harris was not born with that name. He changed it at some point, to dodge the Revolutionary War and before coming to Ohio. I've never seen proof that this actually happened so I don't have it documented. I can't find a RW pension record for him either, but that don't mean that he didn't serve. However John Cole, father of Candace did serve in the RW. He was part of Captain James Hill's Company, Col. James Daggett's Regt., Bristol, R.I., 1777. I have never seen the 1851 Estate record for Willard Thompson Harris either. Wonder if Joseph Harris' name is mentioned in that? He might be,,,,,that is "IF" Joseph didn't die before his father did. The children that I have for Willard Thompson Harris and Candace Cole are: 1. Romentha, b. abt. 1793, m. Malachi Cole (son of Asa. Hummm... This means, Romentha married her 1/2 cousin because Asa is the s/o John Cole and Mercy (or Mary) Wood. Candace was the dau. of John Cole and his 2nd wf. Susannah Salisbury) Romentha d. in May of 1865. 2. Averrill, b. Dec. 25, 1801 - Don't have anyother info. 3. Sarah, b. abt. 1811 m. George Cunningham in 1826 4. Charlotte, b. abt. 1812, m. Levi Riley Swan in 1830. Levi was the s/o Levi Swan and Mary Bradley. After Mary Bradley Swan died, Levi (Sr.) m. Dorinda Greene, d/o Willard Greene & Susannah Cole (d/o John Cole and sister to Candace Cole, who is Charlotte's mother.) 5. Emeline, b. abt. 1816, m. Milo Swan in 1836. They removed to Wilson County Kansas where she died in July of 1905. Milo is also the son of Levi Swan and Mary Bradley.
