I think Pam may be on the correct track below and that her Joseph is not the son of Willard and Candace Cole.     3. This could be a clue.... Interesting that a Joseph Harris exists in Liberty, Delaware County, Ohio in 1860. Numberated as # 131-136. Just 5 entries down, there is Ichabod Cole, Candace (Cole) Harris' brother, numberated as #136-141.
