    3. In the 1850 census for Watertown Twp., Richard Beebe has a female by the name of Elizabeth Woodmancy, age 78, born in Connecticut. Does anyone know who she is? I've tried doing research on this woman and can't find anything. Is it possible that she could be Richard's aunt, the sister of Nancy (Howard) Beebe (mother of Richard)?? Her last name could be spelled wrong in the census. I've even tried Elizabeth Wood Manseany and other soundex variations of the last name. Nothing. If her age is correct, she would of been born in 1772. Nancy Howard Beebe (Richard's mother) was born in 1771 in New London, Connecticut. She was the daughter of William Howard and Martha Rogers. They had a daughter by the name of Betsy Howard. Betsy is a nickname for Elizabeth. That's why I'm wondering if this could be Richard's aunt. 3. Well, when I searched the name at search.labs I got 183 pages so the name is a proper one not an enumerators mistake. But I also have a Mary Woodmansee in the WashCo Marriages 1789 she married Peter Angle 1839.
