Sprague, prominent local business man of 731 Fountain Square who died Monday morning at his home following a cerebral hemorrhage suffered 10 days ago, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. Dr W. M. Hackenberg pastor of St John's Lutheran church will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Mr Sprague was manager of the Ben R mIller Fruit company. He was born in Lowell the son of Steven and Catherine Sprague but had resided for the greater part of his life in Zanesville. For several years he was a member of the Ohio National Guard battery the first light artillery group to volunteer for service in the Spanish American war. and was sworn into federal service April 21 1898, he was discharged Oct 2 1898 with the rank of Second Lieutenant. He was a member of the Zanesville Lodge of the Elks and of the United Commercial Travelers. Surviving are his wife Mrs Grace Sprague a daughter Miss Mildred Sprague of the home, two brother Henry Sprague 829 M??? and Roy Sprague of California; two sisters Mrs Robert Moorehead of 669 Dryden road and Mrs Frank Bohn of 416 Putnam and a number of nieces and nephews. The Zanesville lodge of Elks will hold a ritualistic services Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock at the home. Elks have been requested to meet at the lodge room at 7:45 o'clock. The body will be returned to the residence this morning from the Hearing Bivan Delong funeral home
