The Athens Messenger (Athens, Ohio) > 1881 > October > 6 Edward Sprague and George W. Miller, two young men employed at Townsend's stone quarry above Harmar, were recently badly injured by the premature explosion of a blast. Sprague's face and neck was badlyt burned and filled with powder, but his injuries are not dangerous, but Miller had his nose broken both arms badly mangled and will probably lose both eyes, if he recovers, which is doubtful. Can you all tell I am working on my Spragues?? <G> Eliz
