Hello to all, I'm trying to piece something together. I have Mary Ascane Maple as b. 09 Sep 1867, Jackson County, WV according to her obit in the Marietta Times. However, according to the 1870 Battelle, Monongalia, WV census, she is in her father's home - John P. Maple - and she is listed as being born in PA. Someone provided me with a marriage record for Mary and Sylvester McCullick - m. 03 Dec 1893 - from "Washington County, Ohio Marriage Records", Volume 10, Pg. 1229. Does anyone have access to this record to see if it confirms WV or PA as Mary's place of birth? Thanks, Valerie
