I would suspect a homeplace burial or just one that lost its stone to flood or weather. Unfortunately some of the floods took bodies with them. I believe that these people are all buried in Cedarville Cemetery. I did a powerpoint presentation on Cedarville Cemetery a few years back. Also had pics of headstones that was once on the Hometown AOL site but is not longer availible. I'm in the process right now of getting it formatted so I can add it to youtube as a video, and also add the pics to the historical Marietta, Ohio MySpace site. This will take a couple of days for me to complete transforming everything to jpeg files, then uploading them to the site. I'll make an announcment through the LIST once its online.
