She was born in Beverly, Ohio, and was a graduate of Beverly High School. She was very active her whole life, and she enjoyed ballroom dancing. She was a member of the Worthington Moose Lodge for many years. She was a wonderful cook, and she was known as "Aunt Edie" to family and friends alike. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Joseph Lehnert, children William Burgoon and Phyllis Kincaid Robison and siblings Cecil Matthew, John Matthew, Stella Matthew Lehnert, and Katherine Matthew Riffle. She is survived by her children, Frances (Dale) Pittman, James A. (Betty) Lehnert, and Edward (Jane) Lehnert; brother, David C. Matthew; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Maize Manor United Methodist Church, 3901 Maize Road, Columbus, Ohio where family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
