    3. Just because I believe him to be a descendant of Abner Lord, and his mother (If I am right) was Marietta born, here is the Obit of artist Eliphalet Fraser Andrews. The only reason I noticed him is that another sister, Betsy Lord married Capt Eliphalet Fraser. He was not with his family in 1850 because he was in Marietta at school with Abner Lord Andrews. March 21, 1915, Sunday Page 15, 982 words New York Times WASHINGTON March 20 - Eliphalet Fraser Andrews, who painted several of the portraits now in the White House including those of Martha Washington and Dolly Madison, died here yesterday. He was born at Steubenville, Ohio, in 1855. He was a graduate of Marietta College and studies art in Europe under Ludwig Knaus and at the Dusseldorf Academy. Under the patronage of the late W.W. Corcoran. Mr Andrews founded the Corcoran School of Art, of which he was the Director from 1877 until 1902. Besides the portraits mentioned his pictures of Jefferson, Buchanan, Taylor, Johnson and Garfield are now hanging in the White House, and a number of his works are preserved in private galleries here and abroad. He was a member of the Metropolitan Club of Washington.
