Thanks! The thing that confuses me with the 1910 census is Thomas & Anna are listed as being married once for 5 years since Anna is listed as having 5 children with 2 surviving. Add in that as Amelia is 7 years old & something just doesn't seem to fit. I can't fit this Amelia in the lineage.... have some links missing that tend to be vital. I can't find any Spruce in any census records in that area, either so all I can hope for now is someone someplace knows more about Charles Spruce & Amelia Hawkins. <very deep sigh> Again, thanks for your help & the info... it's very appreciated.
