I'm seeking information on Charles Spruce & Amelia Hawkins who had a child named Edna in December 1921. For some reason, the child Edna was adopted by a couple in Wood County, Ohio ca. 1929. So I'm wondering if one of the parents died or if there were other types of circumstance. Any information is welcome & I'm willing to share what info I have. Thank you.
I would think they weren't married, my books end at 1918 so would likely miss a marriage for them.
