I've "rescued" two old photographs of Sam PAXTON along with Ralph and Lucy which were taken at the Conner's Studio in Beverly, Ohio. The photographs are identical, though one is more worn than the other. The photograph is of two older women, a man, a younger woman and a small infant. They are pictured in front of a house on the front steps, all seated in chairs. I believe that the photograph was probably taken in the early 1900's. I am guessing that the man is Sam, likely in his 40's or 50's at the time the photograph was taken and Ralph is the infant. Guessing that Lucy is Ralph's Mother, probably a woman in her 20's or 30's. The two older woman who are not named look to be from 60 to 90 years old. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the PAXTON Family: Samuel J. PAXTON was b. 27 Nov 1873 in Morgan County OH to parents Franklin K. PAXTON and Alice HAYNES. Samuel married Carrie Jane WATERMAN (b. 2 Nov 1873 in Watertown, OH) on 27 May 1893 and together they had 4 children including, Laura Beryl; Lucy; Thelma; and Bernice PAXTON all born between 1894 and 1905. Samuel died in Beverly, OH in 1946. Lucy A. PAXTON was b. 21 Nov 1893 in Watertown, OH Census records provide the following information: 1910 census of Waterford Township, OH: Samuel J.
