The other side of my line is Matthews. Thomas Matthews was born abt. 1803 in Virginia or Maryland. He married Maria Magruder 13 August 1823 in Allegany Co. Maryland. Maria was born abt. 1803 in Maryland. I do not know the parents or siblings of either person. They had 3 children born in Maryland, William P. Sarah,& Maria. They moved to Noble County, Ohio, where Thompson Spencer (my connection) was born. They moved to Washington Co. Ohio. John T. was born in Ohio and there may have been another child that died young. Thomas and Maria have been a brick wall I have hit in my research in the Matthews line. I can not get beyond them going backward. Again, thank you for any help you might provide.
