I have made copies and will put them in the Smith file. I am still trying to narrow down the different John Smith's from Washington Co., hope that it will turn out to be Elijah's group. How we knew Elijah B. Smith was from Washington Co., OH was from his marriage license. Family story has it that he was a boat captain or at least had something to do with the river.
