Drat! I just fell over the Ponds who came from Poultney Vt to Marietta in 1801 and I won't find that again for ages. There is only a Samuel Pond who married Ethelinde Clark in 1882 he of Barlow Twp. Elijah doesn't show up in the 1820 Census, how old was Dan and do you know the mothers name? I thought maybe Dan was maybe in a stepfathers household.
