I spoke to my grandmother today and she told me the same thing, there were three boys Henry the oldest then Clarence then her father Dorus. She said she always heard them talk about him and when she was old enough to ask, her father said he just left.."there one day gone the next" never to be heard from again. I can not find a Henry..anywhere. Of course I will never be able to see the 1890 census because they burned in washington D.C.( bad news from a historian today).
