When they are found to have been born in Australia or New Zealand, he makes claims that all the research was his, but when they are pointed out as being from some other place, he then passes on the blame to Mr. Barry Crompton (e-mail [email protected]), who is secretary of the American Civil War Round Table of Australia. Our small group of original researchers has tried to deter Gray from using our material, but he goes ahead anyway, without our permission, and then, when he suffers the consequences of his inaccuracies, he always blames others, never himself. I would not place any reliance on his web site, as they include inaccuracies and assumptions in every single biography that they show his lack of research, if any. See http://www.tfoenander.com/litany.htm and http://www.geocities.com/tfoenander/civilwarveterans.htm to see prope! r and thoroughly researched biographies. Sorry - should have added this to my last message. Yesterday we received a "Vacation" reply from one of our subscribers. This particular situation appears to have resolved itself quickly. However, for future reference, if you will be setting up your email to send a notice that you are on vacation or are out of office, you need to first unsubscribe from every mailing list you are on. These types of replies, besides being annoying, can cause serious looping problems on mailing lists. Okay, thanks for listening. Back to genealogy. Karen, OHWashin List Admin

David SIBERT married Leoline KESTER on November 22, 1868 in Washington County, OH. William KESTER married Rebecca ENGLISH on October 10, 1850 in Washington County, OH. In the 1850 census, there is a William KESTER (widower) and a separate household with Rebecca ENGLISH (widow) both in Wesley Township, Washington County, OH, so it looks like they were both married previous.
