Hi Valerie: Has anyone responded to you yet? I have two relatives that lived in Harmar and disappeared after 1850. I wonder if the Harmar cemetery has been indexed, and if so, if anyone has a copy of it. I am looking for Cyrus and Jerusha (HOYT/HAYT) ANDREWS. Cyrus was born in CT and Jerusha was born in NY. They are both listed on the 1850 census, but nothing after that. If anyone has any information on them, I would appreciate sooo much getting it. Hi list, Hope all is well.... It's Brian again from N'awlins. Looking for some help or advice from anyone that wouldn't mind helping. A new genealogy friend was looking up name of my ggg grandfather John Jarvis Parker, aka J.J. Parker, born 1824, Harmar, Washington Co.,OH and she said that she found his name in some old Washinton County Historical Society newletters but mainly in one of the Volumes that she didn't have or have access to. If someone has the volume 21, would you mind looking at the page numbers and see what info. is given in reference to my ggg grandfather's name. He married Pamelia Augusta Ellenwood on February 13, 1850. They were 1st Congregational Church members, member of IOOF and some of the 1st Rebeckah Degree Members, joining in 1849, IOOF and Rebeckah Degrees in 1851 in Marietta, Ohio. the newsletter put out by the Washington County Historical society. There are Parkers mentioned in several, but in Vol. 21 page 44, 45, 47, 48, 49 and 86 J. J. Parker is mentioned. Thanks as usual for time, help, knowledge and goodwill. cheers and peace, brian w williams new orleans

Hello, I recently discovered that my GGgrandfather, Jacob McCullock, died in the Williams District of Wood County, WV on April 7, 1887. However, Jacob and his wife Betsy married in Washington County, OH in 1837 and are found in the Washington County censuses up until 1880. Jacob's death record does not list where he is buried. I posted a query to the Wood County list and several people who have cemetery indexes do not have Jacob in their books. Many of the McCullock family are buried in the Harmar and Oak Grove Cemeteries. Does anyone on the list have an index that might show if Jacob or his wife Betsy are buried there also? Does anyone know where I could write to get this information? Thanks, Valerie
When researching this name be sure to look for the name of Gutberlet. The family is one of the old Germanic families and this is the correct spelling the family used. They are still very active in this area. Emory L. Hi Peggy, I just read your message reply and wanted to ask you if you have any info on James P. Haney or his wife Lucinda (Watts) Haney? Normally I don't allow such messages on the list, but Deb has helped so very many people and so many of you have become friends, that I feel that it would be a great disservice to not post part of this note that I received from her. Hi Debbie I hope things will get better so when you get time I would like the list for McNeal, Perkins, and Webster that are in the Henry cem. if you would I'm trying to track all of the Webster down so I might be able to find out who John L Webster, Sr. parents were I do believe that he was born in Connecticut and if that is so he would be from the line of Webster that were from the one that was Gov. but as yet I have not found when John was born or died and were he is located. Hi Everyone; We just got back to Philly after spending 3 weeks in Marietta, because of my Dad being so ill. Can you believe that on July 7th, the Dr.'s in Marietta and Cleveland gave my Dad 72 hours left, but he is still hanging on. As of now not responding any more. We will go back to Marietta when the time comes. While I was there, my sister, brother and I sat at the nursing home in shifts. I have been calling twice each day to see how he is doing. If anyone emailed me with requests for look-ups, and I haven't gotten back to you, PLEASE email me again with your requests. I have tons of email to open, and I did deleate quite a bit of it, so if you don't hear from me within the next couple of days, let me know, and I will do the look-up. While I was there in Marietta, I did get to visit the genealogy library a couple of times. I copied LOTS of info from the Mason Genealogy, written in 1911 by Mary Eliza Mason (Dau. of William Bion Mason and Lucetta Bishop Sprague.) As some of you know, I have been trying for sometime now to find PROOF that Mary McNeal is the dau. of Levi McNeal and Francis Eliza Beebe. Well.........I found it, right there in black and white in the book, along with Mary McNeal being the grandmother of my great grandmother Fannie Lavina Mankins. I have lots of clues that pointed in the direction that her parents were Levi and Francis, but could find the PROOF until I seen the book. Talk about......Christmas in July.....What a present that was!! I also copied the burials from the HENRY cemetery in Watertown Twp., and Mt. Liberty Cemetery in Decatur Twp. If anyone needs a look-up, just give me a holler. Surnames in Henry Cemetery: GILLMOR HENRY MCNEAL PERKINS WEBSTER Surnames in Mt.
