    2. Debbie, I have only a couple of old photos from Washington Co. but also have many cemetery photos. All are in jpeg. I'd like to send them at one setting on several emails, but the last time I sent photos to someone, they repeatly bounced because his mailbox was full. I finally lost track of what he had received and what had bounced. What will your email tolerate? Brenda

    3. Andrew WEBSTER was married to Sybil COBURN in MA. and had two children, Adelphia and Asa. Sybil died before, her father, Major Asa Coburn, and family, along with the WEBSTER's came to Marietta with the 2nd Ohio Co. Association. Andrew remarried in 1794. His 2nd wife was Sally Brown. Does anyone know if he and Sally had any children? Adelphia Coburn married Mary Coburn (his second cousin), and had 2 children that I know of. Rowena and Sybil. Who did Asa marry? Children? This house is located beside Sacra Via Park, and is still as "beautiful" in 2003, as it was in 1893. 1. Re: [OHWASH] Dudley Davis Family -- any sources?
    2. Joyce Althoff
    3. Just by opening the packets, I can tell you that Marjorie Davis Shelton published an article in " The Tallow Light", vol. 30 # 3 and continued in vol. 30 # 4, the article was called " Stone Walls, Dead Ends, Fires and Floods, Encountered in the search for the Ancestors of Dudley Davis and Mercy Wood". There also is a prologue in " The Tallow Light", named: Stone Walls, Dead Ends, Fires and Floods, A Prologue: How the Walls were Breached". Marjorie D. Shelton credits research by a woman named Janet Ireland Delorey of Shrewsbury, MA, she apparently has a written a book about Jesse Davis, there is a copy in the Marietta Public Library, and at this point there should be copies in Washington County Historical Society and Marietta College. (NOTE: Jesse Davis is the s/o James Davis and Rachel Marble, and a brother to our Dudley Davis). These packets were mailed to me in Sept. 2000, at that time Marjorie gave me an address of Janet Ireland Delorey where you could write to her and buy a copy of the book about Jesse Davis, 3 yrs later, I do not know if the address is still correct, but here goes: Janet Delorey 496 Main St. Shrewsbury, MA 01545 Price: $ 23.50 (postage covered in price, 129 pgs) I would suggest copying or buying copies of "The Tallow Light", vol. 30, #'s 3 & 4, not sure if Marjorie's articles continue into later copies, may also want to buy a copy of Janet Delorey's book. It will take a while to review again what Marjorie has sent me, sadly I did not write the sources down when I first received. Joyce
