While visiting the Springboro Historical Museum on Saturday I found a collection of papers called U.S. Patents, Town 2E Range 5N that included listings for three of may family names. All three, Samuel Gregg SW 1/4, James Johnson NW 1/4 and John Aughe SE 1/4 were shown as receiving patents in Section 8, Twp 2E, Range 5N. James Johnson also had NE 1/4 in Sec. 14. I have looked for a township map on the Warren Co. GenConnect site and have not found one. Could someone help me pinpoint the location of this Sec. 8? I have a current Warren Co. map but the borders of Sec. 8 and 14, moreso, aren't clear to me. Also, are the actual land patent records available at the county courthouse? These were for 1809 to 1812.
