Rich, I ran into the same problem with my Winner's. I know they got land patents, but the only thing that kept coming up for me was Preble County. I'm not certain, of course, but I don't believe they ever owned land there. Doesn't make sense to me because Warren became a county in 1803, but these transactions happened in the 1820's.
