I have just heard from a friend of mine that there has been copies made of an unpublished manuscript (Not in it's entirety) and given to the Historical Society there in Lebanon, Ohio. The name of the manuscript is "Dearth Genealogy". I have been told that the Historical Society there in Lebanon has these copied pages on Micro-Fiche. Now, I don't know how true any of this is; I'm just going by what someone has told me. But I would like to ask the list here if anyone on this list is a member of the Lebanon Historical Society. Or if they might know who I can contact to find out the validity of this information. If it's true, I would like to see about possibly getting copies of the manuscript. I'm told the original manuscript which was written by William Dearth back in the 1940's is kept at the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh, Pa. In this manuscript, it gives reference to the line of Dearth's that my cousin's and I have been searching for, for quite some time. Now that we have the information, we would like to have something on paper confirming/proving the information to be true. That is why I am asking about possibly getting copies. A trip to Lebanon is a little shorter than driving to Pittsburgh. And I don't know if those folks there in Pittsburgh would let me, or even if they themselves would allow copies to be made. (I have not followed that route yet) Thought that checking with the closest possible source would be the best thing to try first. Would/could anyone on the list here answer my questions, point me in the right direction, or somehow offer me some assistance in this matter ??? Thanks !!!! Doug
