Any place with info on local history is a good site and the couple of hours I spent at the Historical Museum was time well spent. I was able to copy anything I needed there, yes. But there genealogical holdings are limited. During my previous visit to the area, I was able to spend time at the Warren Co. Genealogical Society library in Lebanon. They have excellent resources and helpful staff there. During that same visit I also had great success visiting the archives section of the county courthouse records having to do with probate, marriage records etc. My next trip will be geared towards land records which I did not have time to pursue previously. Hours for the Genie Society and the Springboro Museum are spotty so be sure to plan your visit around them. The Museum is open certain hours on Wed., Sat. and Sun. only for example. You might also want to consider time at the Allen Co. Library in Ft. Wayne, IN, which is not too far up the road. It was there that I discovered the existence of probate records and cemetery listings showing both sets of my ggg-grandparents that then led me to Warren Co. What a wonderful resource the Allen Co. Library is for researchers! Good luck! Rich Lynne Streich wrote: > > Good afternoon, Mr. Lowe: > > I am planning a trip to the Warren County area in the very near future > (next week), too.
