Karen... The John M Houston you mentioned, was he the husband of Lydia Truitt Houston? John married Lydia's sister Matilda after Lydia died a young woman. If my research is correct, there seem to be two John M Houstons in the early days of Warren County and the one mentioned above is my ggg grandfather.
