Peter STEPHENS moved to Clinton Co from VA about 1812. His daughter Mary married Joshua GARWOOD from Warren Co in 1813. The GARWOODs had been Quaker back in NJ and I know there was a Quaker settlement in Warren Co, but I think they must have fallen away about this time because the next generation wasn't. I'm particularly interested in finding Joshua's parents. It's either Stacey or William GARWOOD. Any clues appreciated! Pat Riley
